SKU Redirects

Open WooCommerce products through short, memorable URLs based directly on their SKU.

What it does

SKU Redirects creates a direct path from a product SKU to the normal WooCommerce product page. Instead of sharing or typing a long product URL, you can use a short address such as mystore.com/26014 or mystore.com/CX-MCP23017-MH.

Supports numeric and alphanumeric SKUs
Redirects SKU-based paths to the product’s normal permalink
Automatically updates the SKU mapping when products are saved
Removes obsolete mappings when products are deleted
Ignores query strings such as ?fbclid=…
Includes a Rebuild redirects function

How it works

The app maintains an index that maps eligible product SKUs to their WooCommerce product URLs. When a visitor enters a matching SKU as the path, the request is redirected to the stored product permalink. The settings page also shows indexed-product counts and provides a manual rebuild option.

Why this app is useful

SKUs are often shorter and easier to communicate than product titles or full WooCommerce URLs. SKU-based links are useful in printed material, customer communication, internal documentation and anywhere a simple product address is easier to work with.
